Mile Hi Automotive & Jerry has retired

It’s Over!

52 years serving the Saab community, today the final day for Mile Hi Automotive has arrived April 29, 2021. I have made a decision to step back from the position of a business owner. Continue my passion for Saab’s as a dedicated enthusiast. My Father started Mile Hi in 1969 and this is the only job I have ever had since I was 17 years old. I have been around every Saab production from the two strokes and to the last model 9-4 and have worked on all of them. My biggest challenge was to let my employees and customers know my plans. I will always be a Saab Enthusiast for the rest of my life. I will still run the Rocky Mountain Saab Club of Colorado, organize Saab events, car shows and tinker with my collection of 10 Saab’s. I plan to spend time at the Saab Heritage Museum in Sturgis SD. Tom and Patti Donney have over 100 Saabs from the very first to the very last with all variations of Saabs in between and I am sure they need maintenance. If you ever get a chance do not pass up the opportunity to see this remarkable collection.

For my Customers, I have reached out to 6 repair facilities to service your Saab. All these shops are Saab friendly and are happy to take Mile Hi’s position of taking care of our customer. Below is and on our web site is a list of shops we recommend. Three are Official Saab Service Centers.

For my employees, I have found them employment at these shops. Very likely you will see Mark and Jeff at these locations. I listed below the shops where My Mechanics Frank & Phil landed along with Mark & Jeff. It is always nice to go to a new facility and recognize a familiar face and know you will be taken care of with the same quality as Mile Hi.

June 5th  thru June 12th, 2021 Mile Hi will host a Pick & Pull for all the surplus parts Mile Hi has amassed over the years. Prices will be giveaway values. Few parts are new, mostly used. Check our web site for detailed pictures.

To all of my dedicated customers, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I still have customers that were with me in the 70’s. I have seen them grow in their careers and they have seen me grow as well.

Again, thank you for the wonderful years and especially the wonderful memories of all of my favorite customers.

Mile Hi is the best! I've been taking my saabs there for 36 years. Their skill/service/friendship is what has and will keep me going to them for my '02 9-3 and the love of my life Sherri's '03 9-5. Jerry and his daughter Michelle, plus everyone else who works there all really care for their customers and cars.
